Pauline Nthenya Nduva is the National Chairperson of the Kenya Association of Women in Tourism (KAWT), elected for the 2024–2027 term to lead the national executive committee. KAWT is a pan-Kenyan advocacy platform empowering women in the tourism and hospitality industry through capacity building, policy influence, networking, and CSR interventions. Pauline previously served as Chairperson of the Kwale County Chapter, where she played a prominent role organizing flagship CSR-driven initiatives—such as the KAWT Charity Golf tournament—focused on women’s mentorship, menstrual hygiene initiatives, and entrepreneurship training in blue-economy sectors. She also actively facilitated the landmark Memorandum of Understanding between KAWT and the labor union KUDHEIHA to address sexual and gender-based violence in tourism workplaces through training and awareness campaigns
